DCS Spatial Services, on behalf of the Surveyor General, creates and maintains a spatial representation of the State and acts as a 'single source of truth' for foundation spatial information and survey infrastructure and services in NSW. It supports the legislative and statutory requirements for the NSW Surveying and Spatial Information Act 2002.
The SIX Maps viewer provides access to a range of NSW foundation spatial data through an intuitive public interface. The service allows viewing of data including: Cadastral, Topographic, Imagery, Place Names and Addressing data. This service is now available via the Spatial Collaboration Portal.

Spatial Services is now providing spatial data as "web services" which allow users to access the most "up to date" information without having to store and maintain it in their own systems or applications. CORSnet-NSW is a precise positioning service that gives users fast and accurate positioning and guidance solutions across NSW. The service is delivered by a network of permanent Continuously Operating Reference Stations (CORS). This service is now available via the Spatial Collaboration Portal.

The Surveyor General's Directions provide information about survey practice in New South Wales which can be downloaded in PDF format. Eg Aquaculture Lease Surveys, Mining Tenure Surveys, Control Surveys and SCIMS. Please access via the Spatial Services website.
